Spine Surgery

Treatment of spinal disorders and deformities of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. Minimally invasive surgery, reconstructive surgery, fusion, instrumentation, and percutaneous procedures.

The overall goal of our Spine Services Division is to return the injured patient to active status in the shortest time. The initial approach is generally non-surgical, with surgical options reserved for patients with recurrent or disabling symptoms or progressive deficits. Complete diagnostic testing of all spinal and nerve disorders is available through our offices.

Did you know that four out of five Americans will have an attack of back pain during their lifetime? For many, back pain results in endless visits to back doctors and years of pain. Once you have back pain, you are four times as likely to have a recurrence. Finally, there’s an alternative: Northern California Spine and Rehabilitation Associates. We’re here to help.

NCSRA receives patients from all across the Northern California area. In our experience, we have seen some of the most complex cases of back and neck pain. Fortunately, these patients have a place to turn to: NCSRA, a regional center of excellence for back and neck problems.

What separates NCSRA from other specialists is our unique emphasis on nonsurgical approaches to back and neck pain. With specialists in physical medicine and rehabilitation, called physiatrists, NCSRA is often successful in helping people without the need for surgery. On the other hand, if surgery is warranted, then NCSRA can manage the area’s most complex surgical cases.

These can include herniated discs, spinal fractures, spinal deformity, spinal tumor and scoliosis. Using the most advanced instrumentation and spine surgery techniques available, NCSRA is able to take care of patients with any type of back or neck problem, from the simplest to the most complex.
